Warren Buffett, one of the most famous investors in the world, has announced that he will retire as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway at the end of 2025. He will give leadership of the company to Greg Abel, who has been Vice Chairman since 2018.

Greg Abel has been preparing for this role for years. He is expected to continue Buffett’s values and grow the company. Buffett said he is keeping all his shares because he believes Berkshire will do well under Abel. Abel said he feels honored to lead the company. Buffett’s retirement marks the end of an era, but many believe Berkshire will stay strong.
